Your coach will craft a workout and nutrition plan, personalised to your needs. They'll provide feedback on your exercise form, daily guidance on your nutrition and ongoing support and resources.

3. Reach your goals

Track your workouts and habits. Your coach will iterate your plan based on your feedback. They'll help you get 1% better day after day. You'll start to feel better and look better as you build sustainable habits for better health.

Why should I hire a personal trainer?

Most of us need human support and accountability to reach our fitness goals. Unfortunately, traditional personal training services are prohibitively expensive for most. Kickoff gives everyone access to all of the benefits of a 1-on-1 relationship with an expert personal trainer at a fraction of the cost.

How does online personal training work?

Working with a personal trainer online through text message, app, and video can be a far more efficient way to get the results you’re looking for. You spend less time and money coordinating schedules with your trainer, and more time focusing on your daily workout/nutrition plan, and overcoming any hurdles you face.

How is an online personal trainer different from a traditional personal trainer?

Unlike conventional trainers that charge per session, Kickoff trainers provide unlimited workouts, meal planning, and daily accountability for a flat, affordable monthly fee. We want you to progress as quickly as possible!

What if my coach just isn't a good fit for me. Can I change?

Absolutely. We know how important it is to click with your coach, so if you ever want to try out working with someone else, just let us know, and we’ll work with you to find the perfect fit.

How will my coach help me with my nutrition?

Many of our trainers have advanced nutrition credentials. Your coach will start by asking you to share 1-2 days of what you eat. Then they’ll provide feedback on what you’re doing well and what you could improve on based on your goals. To help you improve, they’ll provide a daily meal plan and check in each day to find out how you’re doing. If you have any specific diets you’d like to follow (ie, intermittent fasting, keto, paleo, or other), they can help you with those too.

What kind of workouts can I do?

Any kinds of workouts that you would like! Let your coach know what your favorite types of exercise are - whether you’re into HIIT, barre, yoga, weight training, running, swimming, rowing, bootcamp, hiking, biking, or anything else you can think of. Your coach will build your favorites into your plan.

Can't I get the same results on my own?

It’s great that online workouts have given so many people access to better fitness options, and if you’re consistent about doing the right ones, they can be very effective. But no one-size-fits all program can deliver the same results -- or consistency and accountability -- that a program that’s designed specifically for you can. Working with a coach makes sure you’re doing workouts that will actually deliver the results you want, and gives you the accountability that only comes from working one-on-one with another human. Fitness also needs to be holistic - nutrition, sleep, and wellness all play a huge part in how you reach your goals - and a trainer can help you address all the components you need to succeed.

What if I don't have a gym membership or home gym?

No problem! Your trainer designs your custom workout plan specifically to suit your situation. Your workouts incorporate wherever you prefer to exercise and whatever equipment you have available to you — from being at home with no equipment, to being at a gym fully-stocked with the latest gear, and everywhere in-between. Your trainer can include outdoor runs and group fitness classes as well. The goal is to create a convenient and realistic training plan that you can stick to.
